Why Iron Brotherhood?
For over 4 years we have had monthly Iron Brotherhood gatherings.
Yes, we lift big and then eat great BBQ afterwards, but it’s more than that.
Men are at their worst in isolation.
We give them a reason to get out and be part of something bigger than themselves.
Our motto is, “A common struggle builds an uncommon bond”.
This is especially important for veterans.
They often miss the brotherhood of the military very much; and there is nothing even close to it in the civilian world.
Veterans often only relate to other veterans. Now they are in the civilian world and civilians are everywhere, they can’t be avoided.
Sometimes veterans think civilians have no idea of what they have been through, and they are right. How can they?
We know we cannot replace military brotherhood, but we can help men develop new friendships through our strength training and big BBQ feasts. guys get be guys without apology. They can just hang out together.
Veterans and civilians together, lifting big and eating big, come be part of it.
We meet the first Saturday of the month at 4:30 pm at the Cave
4463 Ashton Rd., Unit-C, Sarasota, FL 34233.
