Training should make you feel healthier, not all beat up
I have learned over the years how important it is to make your training match you. Having used different training systems, I have kept what helped me most and ditched the rest. I decided one day that I don’t want to feel like I got hit by a truck every time I train. Be boldContinue reading “Training should make you feel healthier, not all beat up”
Iron Brotherhood Road Trip Oct.28
We are planning on going to the Tampa Bay Strongman Classic on Oct. 28. This will be in place of our November club meeting, since I will be in Miami for the Adex Mace & Club Certification that weekend. Here’s an idea of what the action is like at the Strongman competition
Ego & impatience–the enemies of progress in training
No one gets incredibly strong in a short period of time. Here’s one person who got pretty strong in about 5 months, though he was incredibly weak when he started. TheContinue reading “How long does it take to get strong?”
It will be tougher to get accepted into our training program very soon
The Cave is home to “the dedicated, coachable few”. They know that 100% effort is always expected in every training session. I hold my own self, and them to a high standard! Consistency in training is required from everyone. Hit and miss attendance is not tolerated. I screen people hard when they inquire about ourContinue reading “It will be tougher to get accepted into our training program very soon”
