It’s that time of year again, and training time seems to evaporate, The fact is, it really hasn’t, only the uncommitted will think it has.
Don’t get me wrong, I think people should enjoy the holidays, as for myself as a follower of Christ, Christmas has a very special significance for me and my family.
However, that doesn’t mean all training stops, far from it! I train year round.
Here’s some simple advice to keep you fit during this time of year.
- stick to basic exercises, especially bodyweight
- keep a couple of training tools handy, like an Adex club or a sandbag, that you can throw in your car and use most anywhere
- keep your training short & intense aka “quick & dirty”
- Make the most of the time you have, make it count!
This should be a no-brainer, but it isn’t for many time-frazzled folks.
