Keeping your edge during the holidays

It’s that time of year again, and training time seems to evaporate, The fact is, it really hasn’t, only the uncommitted will think it has.

Don’t get me wrong, I think people should enjoy the holidays, as for myself as a follower of Christ, Christmas has a very special significance for me and my family.

However, that doesn’t mean all training stops, far from it! I train year round.

Here’s some simple advice to keep you fit during this time of year.

  • stick to basic exercises, especially bodyweight
  • keep a couple of training tools handy, like an Adex club or a sandbag, that you can throw in your car and use most anywhere
  • keep your training short & intense aka “quick & dirty”
  • Make the most of the time you have, make it count!

This should be a no-brainer, but it isn’t for many time-frazzled folks.
